CannySloth was conceptualized in the long nights three small business owners spent doing the same tedious tasks over and over — answering the same customer questions, chasing missed calls, manually confirming appointments — instead of doing the work they actually started their businesses to do. Each of us ran our own SMB, and each of us hit the same wall: there weren’t enough hours in the day, and hiring more people wasn’t always an option.
We believe running a small business shouldn’t mean drowning in busywork. Automation always felt like something reserved for big companies with big budgets and IT departments — not for the one-person shop or the small team wearing five hats each. We knew there had to be a better way, one that didn’t require a computer science degree or a five-figure software contract.
